As a civil engineer with a master’s degree in construction management Laura Loaiza gained valuable experience coordinating infrastructure projects. During the study, design, and planning phases she has successfully connected various disciplines to drive project success.
Her work has primarily focused on renovation, replacement, and expansion projects, an area she explored in depth during her master’s thesis. Researching challenges of infrastructure renovation and replacement in the Netherlands, she developed a framework to prioritize tasks that align with stakeholder demands and optimize resource allocations.
