The department Facility Management & Workplace Services EMEA ensures Service Management, Asset Management, Monitoring malfunctions, Contract Management and technical advice for the EMEA part of the housing portfolio of Adidas®. The worldwide portfolio has approximately 125 offices, 40 distribution centres, 7 factories, 3600 stores and 70 showrooms. For the stores and showrooms in the DACH-region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) a structure has been developed to organise the entire service department more efficiently. By using this structure, it is easier to generate management information.

Next to that, the technical due diligence of the stores and showrooms ensures a precise idea of the current condition of the stores and showrooms by a thorough inspection of the spaces, the locations and the surroundings.

The standardisation of the most important assets (climate installations, security, lighting, fire alarm system) ensures a good foundation to establish a purchasing strategy and contract management. After implementation of this structure for an efficient organisation of the services of this department in the DACH-region, implementation will follow for the other regions within EMEA.
