Michiel is an experienced project and contract manager with broad experience in the infrastructure and maritime sector. He is proficient in project management, contract management, operational management, contract negotiation, conflict resolution and procurement processes.
His drive is to unite parties with apparent differences to the outside world, by building professional collaborations and strong connections, enhanced by strong communication skills. He also believes that foresight, common sense, substantive knowledge and treating fellow human beings in an appropriate manner are crucial for the success of projects and organizations. By believing this, restrictions are lifted.
He embraces the continuous pursuit of improvement in the project as well as the growth of his team members, the organization and himself. He is successful in delegating and credits the team members with their success. He likes to keep it simple and pragmatic, but always goes the extra mile.
